Frequently asked questions
Eight things hospitality, retail, and corporate-gifting buyers most often ask before placing a first order with Barbaria Morocco. If your question is not here, our concierge replies to every inquiry within 24 working hours.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Our curated gift boxes are made to order from a minimum of 6 units for certain references and up to 100 units for others. The exact minimum order quantity is shown on each gift box page. For bespoke configurations, the threshold depends on complexity; our concierge confirms the minimum quantity in the quote within 24 working hours.
What is your production lead time?
Curated gift boxes are prepared within 4 to 6 weeks of order confirmation and payment validation. Bespoke configurations (custom compositions, personalised packaging, engravings or cards) require 8 to 10 weeks. We confirm the final lead time in your quote based on project complexity and the seasonal availability of raw materials.
Can I customise a gift box?
Yes. Two options: compose your own box using our online builder by selecting pieces from our catalogue, or request a fully bespoke configuration with exclusive composition, packaging in your brand colours, monogrammed cards, and engraving. For bespoke projects, our concierge works directly with you on the selection of materials, the écrin, and the finishing touches.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We regularly deliver to our hospitality and corporate partners across Morocco, France, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. International logistics is handled through our forwarding partner; shipping and customs duties are factored into the quote. For destinations not listed above, please consult us in your inquiry.
Where do your ingredients come from?
All our cosmetic and épicerie ingredients are sourced in Morocco, primarily from Berber cooperatives in the Atlas and Souss regions. Argan oil is cold-pressed at first extraction, saffron is hand-graded, ghassoul comes from the Atlas quarries. We publicly name our partner cooperatives on the Ateliers page so each piece's origin is fully traceable.
Do you offer samples?
Yes. Our Atelier Barbaria sample kit is available on qualified inquiry for hospitality buyers and corporate gifting partners. The kit includes a representative selection of our cosmetics and épicerie fine, in formats matching the final product. Mention your interest in your inquiry and we will include the kit with our proposal.
How does your pricing work?
Pricing is on personalised quote. Our concierge replies within 24 working hours with a detailed proposal covering composition, quantities, packaging, personalisation options, and logistics. Pricing depends on volume, configuration complexity, and the production season. We do not publish a public price list, in keeping with the practice of luxury B2B houses.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfers (Moroccan or European banks depending on invoicing) and cheque payments for Moroccan clients. For first-time orders, payment is typically due at order confirmation. For larger projects and recurring hospitality partners, we offer staged payments with a deposit at order and balance on delivery, with terms agreed in writing in the quote.
